Somerdale Educate Together  are looking for an experienced  chef to run the kitchen within our school. You will be responsible for the overall management of all aspects of the catering function and will be assisted by a Kitchen Assistant.

You will need to be enthusiastic about providing healthy nutritious food for children, have a positive attitude and be punctual and reliable. A background in catering is essential as is the ability to work as part of a team. You will also need to fully understand and respect food safety regulations.The purpose of the role is to provide high quality meals at lunchtime for our children. The position would be well suited to someone who has experience within a school kitchen environment and will need to be self-motivated and dynamic.

The salary for this role is ET Grade D SCP13 which is £26,873 pro rata. The hours are 35 hours per week term time only plus an extra 5 days in the school holidays and as such the actual salary will be £22718.
