Parklands Educate Together Primary Academy is a two form entry school, part of an Academy Trust that also has schools in Bristol, Keynsham, Bath, Weston-Super-Mare and Swindon. We received a Good Ofsted in January 2023, demonstrating our commitment to high quality learning for our children and reinforcing us as a popular choice in the local community.

We are currently looking for a part time teacher to join our growing school one day per week to teach a KS1 class. The working day will be Friday and there is no flexibility around this. This is a fixed term contract to cover the flexible working request of the post-holder for 12 months.

  • Can you actively support our Educate Together ethos and prove you are already living it?
  • Do you consider yourself a flexible, forward thinking teacher who can teach throughout a primary school?
  • Can you demonstrate the ability to innovate and explore new ideas?
  • Can you demonstrate that you can enable children to make very good progress and achieve high standards, while delivering a broad and balanced curriculum?
  • Do you believe that education can be optimistic and fun to work in and you should be able to change things?
  • Are you flexible, keen to lend a hand and enthusiastic about the opportunities?

If ethical education is vital to you, this is an exciting opportunity to join Educate Together.

  • Child – centred - Children are at the heart of every decision and activity. Their voices are actively sought and listened to. They play a lead role in shaping their education.
  • Collaborative - Our schools aim to be central to the communities they serve.
