Redfield Educate Together are looking for a highly skilled Learning Support Assistant, to join our team and support children in our school. This may be supporting generally in class, or supporting children with additional learning needs working in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant with the following attributes:
- A strong understanding of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and how these can present in children.
- A calm, flexible, and resilient approach to supporting learners
- Experience and ability to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) on a 1:1 basis or within small group settings.
- A comprehension of the impact of trauma on children.
- Skills to build positive and nurturing relationships with children to foster their development and well-being.
- Initiative, alongside the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
- Proven experience in managing children with SEND, demonstrating effective strategies to support their learning journeys.

This is a full-time permanent post-Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:45pm ( until 4.30pm on Wednesdays for staff meeting).
Salary is NJC SP5 which is currently £25,583 pro rata.
The actual salary is £20,861.
