Mulberry Park Educate Together Primary Academy is a vibrant, bubbly and welcoming one form entry primary school in the heart of the Mulberry Park community in Combe Down. Since opening in 2018, we have grown into a nurturing, inclusive school where relationships, connection and compassion sit at the heart of everything we do.
Our children come from diverse backgrounds, and we have a higher than average proportion of pupils with SEND and SEMH needs. Approximately 15% of our children have EHCPs. All of this means no two days are ever the same.
We are now seeking an experienced, calm, organised and enthusiastic Administrator to join our front‑office team and help ensure the smooth running of our busy school.
About the Role
As our Administrator, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the school, supporting with communication, admissions, attendance, safeguarding checks, recruitment and office organisation. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and the Admin Assistant and also receive support from the Trust Central Team.
This is a fast‑paced role that requires warmth, accuracy and professionalism in every interaction.

Have worked in a school environment or similar
Are prepared to be adaptable and willing to lend a hand in day to day school life including school lunchtimes
Have previous Academy/Trust office experience.
Stay calm under pressure and can manage a busy workload with confidence.
Multi‑task effectively while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Communicate warmly and professionally, even in challenging or confrontational situations.
Work accurately across a range of admin tasks, systems and processes.
Feel confident being around young children and enjoy being part of a school community.
Bring empathy, patience and adaptability-particularly important in a school where many children have additional needs or have experienced trauma.
Value an approach rooted in relationships, understanding and care, rather than punitive responses.
Are willing to undertake first aid training and feel able to support with children’s medical needs as part of the role.
Exceptional candidates will have:
A knowledge of Arbor MIS or similar.

The rule is full time, term time only plus one additional week in the school holidays. The hours are 8.15 to 15.45 daily. The grade is NJC17 which is currently £31,022 pro rata and the actual salary for these hours is £26,255 per annum.
