The EEEA Trust is looking for an enthusiastic, strategic Area Business Manager to oversee the business management functions for a cluster of schools in the Woking area, reporting directly to the Chief Finance & Operating Officer (CFOO). You will drive operational excellence by implementing best practices and trust-wide services, providing local leadership across the business functions, maximising efficiency and ensuring compliance.
- Post: Area Business Manager (Woking & surrounding area)
- Trust: Engage, Enrich, Excel Academy Trust (EEEA Trust)
- Location: Woking (Maybury Primary & Byfleet Primary), with up to 1 day/week at Head Office (Camberley)
- Hours: 36 hours per week (Mon-Fri, times TBC) – 41 working weeks per year (Term time + 2)
- Salary: Scale SP10 £47,142-£51,175 FTE; £42,635-£47,120 gross pro-rata (Dependent on qualifications/experience/service)

These one-form entry schools are only 5 miles apart, feature onsite parking, have well-established office/premises teams and balanced budgets.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Collaboration: Work directly with Headteachers, Senior Leaders, Governors and the CFOO to manage resources effectively.
- Operational Leadership: Direct and support local administration and premises teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Trust-wide Impact: Contribute to the development of consistent, best-practice procedures across the Trust.
- Specialism Development: Implement improvements in functional specialisms such as HR, Finance, H&S, or Estates Management.
