We are looking to appoint a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our values-based school. The role is 4 days as week term-time only + 5 INSET days. The salary for the HLTA role is as per Surrey Pay Scale 6 with a range of £31,182 - £33,440 FTE. As this is part-time role, the actual salary will be pro-rata that amount, a range of £18,129 - £19,442.

We are looking to appoint:
• A qualified, exceptional classroom practitioner with a passion for developing children's learning, with the ability and expertise to cover PPA, SLT time and release team leaders when necessary including short term absence cover. As well as lead interventions such as ELSA to further support our children throughout the school.
• A HLTA with high expectations and an understanding of raising achievement
• A dynamic, creative, positive team member who sets a good example in terms of dress, punctuality and attendance and effectively models the values of our school.
The successful candidate will:
• To work alongside the Class teachers in all key stages– both in planning and implementation of lessons.
• To deliver lesson content as directed and planned by the class teacher, tailoring to meet the needs of the children, if required.
• To be involved in the assessment, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of the children.
• To mark work as directed by the class teacher in line with the marking policy of the school
