Specialist SEND Teacher

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, resilient, motivated teacher who is committed to supporting children with SEND to be successful in our mainstream setting.

School: The Cambridge Primary School, Aldershot, Hampshire

Start Date: 1st September 2026 (or sooner, if available)

Salary: Unqualified Teacher Scale or Main Pay Scale

Contract: Full time

The staff, children and governors of The Cambridge Primary School are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic qualified teacher to join our team.


The Cambridge Primary School is a 2-form entry primary school with 420 children. We offer a caring, engaging, safe and secure learning environment to enable our children to thrive.

The appointed specialist SEND teacher will work closely with the Senior Team, Head of Inclusion and class teachers to deliver Project-Based Learning alongside core subjects at Key Stage 1/2, working in a small, dynamic setting.


Successful candidates will:

Be team players who are organised and committed to high-quality teaching.

Be motivated, resilient and adaptable, with a positive approach to challenges.

Have experience working with SEN students or in SEN settings (essential).

Share our commitment to trauma-informed practice (training and support provided).
