We are an 11-18 academy and part of the Sidney Stringer Multi-Academy Trust. As a school community we have worked hard together to establish a positive and aspirational culture for learning, where our core values of respect, determination and kindness are the foundations of all that we do.

We make no apology for our high expectations of positive behaviour and effort from our young people as it is our aim to send every child that comes to our school out into the world equipped with the core values and characteristics that will see them achieve success in whatever career they choose.

Our core purpose is to improve the life chances of the young people who attend our school by developing the skills, attributes and character to enable them to achieve their aspirations and succeed in modern society. We are not a school whose sole focus is on exam results, instead we are a school who recognises that society is made up of a diverse range of people and we should embrace and develop the different interests, skills and personalities that our children possess.

Sidney Stringer Multi Academy Trust have five schools in our trust and have worked together for a number of years for the benefit of all of our pupils. The schools are Primary, Secondary and Special schools with over 3400 pupils and we employ over 600 teaching and support staff.
