Are you an innovative and committed Site Services Officer seeking a new opportunity? We are looking for a  Site Services Officer to join our team.

Job overview

This role plays a crucial part in the smooth running of both Ernesford Grange and Riverbank. Under the day to day supervision and direction of the MAT Facilities Manager and schools SLT you will support and directly supervise the site team in the provision of all site service activities. This includes janitorial, cleaning, maintenance and monitoring duties and ensuring the site is safe, maintained, attractive and a suitable environment for the educational and community activities taking place at on site and across other schools in the MAT as required. 

The right candidate will have:

  • A good basic level of numeracy and literacy skills
  • Qualified First Aider or willing to train 
  • Willingness to undertake induction and further training
  • Experience of working calmly under pressure
  • General practical skills and/or maintenance experience
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including alarm call outs and multi-site working
  • Ability to carry out minor repairs, maintenance and manual handling activities safely
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, using initiative to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
