We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Subject Leader of Food Preparation and Nutrition to join our vibrant school community. The successful candidate will:
• Lead and manage the Food Preparation and Nutrition department to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to understand and appreciate food science, nutrition, and cooking techniques.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong background in Food Preparation and Nutrition or a related subject
• Provide high quality teaching in the subject areas whereby students make excellent progress over time and are suitably challenged.
• A strong understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to adapt and innovate within it..
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation, well-being, and success.
• Contribute weekly to the extracurricular programme
