Tucked away in a corner of Southmead we have a dedicated, talented and exceptionally caring staff who champion every single child. We have a fantastic environment to support and inspire children and an ethos that that believes in the potential of each and every child.
We want our children to be successful in every aspect of their lives; we all aim to be the best we can be at all times. Our school motto ‘working together, achieving together’ underpins our commitment to working collaboratively with our learners, parents and carers and the local community, so that when our children move on from Fonthill they know that they have achieved personal, social and academic success.
We are committed to ensuring every child has an exciting, enriching and successful start to school life, which gives them a firm foundation to continue their learning journey with us as they move through the school.
The Journey begins here …….
Built in the 1930s Fonthill School is one of the oldest and most established schools in Southmead.
We continue to build on what has already been established and now benefit from extensive grounds with two dedicated and purpose built outdoor spaces for Early Years children.
There are separate playgrounds for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children and a large playing field for sporting activities. In addition we have a Super Sports Court for all children to enjoy.
We enjoy a spacious building with two halls, a library and cosy reading areas. Our classrooms are both stimulating and enjoyable and adapted to meet the needs of the children in that age range.
If you're searching for your next teaching post, why not contact us now? You'll be working at a great school and be part of a friendly, helpful team. We're always interested to hear from enthusiastic, committed teachers!
