About the role:
Lacon Childe School is looking to appoint an Achievement Leader who will support identified students in making good progress at school. The role involves overseeing the pastoral well-being, attendance, behaviour, and learning attitudes of students within their assigned year group.
About you:

You will be an inspiring character who is willing to lead by example but will also contribute positively to wider school life. Most of all, you will be clear that education is a great leveller and work hard to help us achieve our goal of preparing every student to go to university or high-powered alternative.
Our successful candidate will have the following experience, skillset and qualifications:
NVQ level 3 or above qualification appropriate to the post or relevant experience.
Level 2 in English and maths or evidence of working at this level.
Very good IT, numeracy and literacy skills.
Willingness to undertake further professional development.
Previous experience of working in a classroom environment with students.
Experience of procedures relating to child protection and safeguarding.
This post will report to a Head of Year.
The post will commence 1 September 2026.
