Job Title: Admin Support Assistant-SEND

Job Location: King Charles I School

Salary: SC4 (7-11) £27,274-£29,070 pa, pro-rated to term time only working 

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time weekdays only plus the school training days + an additional 5 days during the summer holidays (days to be confirmed)

About the role:

We are seeking a highly organised Admin Support Assistant to join our dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent administrative and communication skills to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our SEND provision. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCo, staff, parents and external agencies to help ensure that students receive the highest quality support.

The post is permanent, term time only plus the school training days and 5 days during the summer holidays. The dates to be confirmed with line manager.

This role reports to the SENCo.  

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent organisational and IT skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a school or SEND environment would be advantageous but is not essential
