Who we are looking for:
We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to work at Haybridge High School.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom and supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
You will also support the Lead cover supervisor with daily setting of cover and the cover team, including contacting supply agencies and liaising with the Trust Human Resources Team.
The post is permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only plus the school training days. Salary Scale SC5 (12-17) (Actual salary - £24,595- £26680)
This role reports to a member of SLT.
You will have:
Our successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
- NVQ level 3 or above qualification appropriate to the post or relevant experience.
- Level 2 in English and maths or evidence of working at this level.
- Very good IT, numeracy and literacy skills.
- Willingness to undertake further professional development.
- Previous experience of working in a classroom environment with students.
- Experience of procedures relating to child protection and safeguarding.
