Salary: TA2 point 5-6 (£25,583 - £25,989) + SEN allowance £1359 per annum pro rata

About the role:

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant as part of our SEND department at Haybridge High School.

The Teaching Assistant will support the classroom teacher in the development and education of children, including those with special, physical, emotional and educational needs, by utilising detailed knowledge and specialist skills.

Our successful candidate will have the following experience, skillset and qualifications:

  • Achieved (or currently working towards) NVQ level 3 or above qualification appropriate to the post
  • Previous experience of working in a classroom environment with students
  • Previous experience of working in a classroom environment with students who are disabled or have special educational needs.

The post is permanent, 37 hours a week, term time only plus the school training days.
