Hours: 27.10 hrs per week 8.45 am to 3.15 pm (less unpaid 20 minute break and 45 minute lunch break), term time only

About the role:
We are seeking to appoint a permanent Teaching Assistant Level 2 who will support classroom teachers in the development and education of children, including those with special, physical, emotional and educational needs by utilising detailed knowledge and specialist skills. You will work to improve academic achievement, attendance and behaviour for identified individual students or groups of students. Also, support and strive to address the needs of individual students or groups of students to overcome barriers to learning in order to achieve their potential.
About you:
Our successful candidate will have the following experience, skillset and qualification:
• Achieved (or currently working towards) NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post
• Previous experience of working in a classroom environment with students
• Previous experience of working in a classroom environment with students who have special educational needs.
This post will report to the Operational SENCo.
The post will commence 1 September 2026.
