About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic teacher to join our welcoming rural village school. We are seeking to appoint an excellent practitioner with a clear understanding of effective primary teaching practice who is passionate about delivering high-quality provision for all pupils.
This fixed-term contract is in place to provide temporary cover while the organisation undertakes a staffing structure review and determines future permanent resourcing needs.

Our successful candidate will have the following experience, skillset and qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent)
• Excellent working knowledge of the primary curriculum (Reception to Year 6)
• A clear understanding of effective pedagogy and the ability to plan and deliver provision that meets pupil needs
• High expectations for all pupils and a strong commitment to enabling every child to achieve their best
• Excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills, including confidence with ICT
• The ability to work in a way that promotes the safety, wellbeing and safeguarding of children and young people
• A willingness to play a full and active part in the life of the school
This role reports to the Headteacher.

Our school is located in the small South Shropshire village which is surrounded by beautiful countryside.
We currently have 96 children organised into 4 classes. We additionally have a nursery. We are proud of the welcoming and friendly atmosphere of the school, where children work co-operatively to achieve the very best they possibly can in all areas of the curriculum.
