Head Teacher at Foxton Primary School

The Local Governing Body and Symphony Learning Trust have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Headteacher at Foxton Primary School due to the previous Headteacher moving to another Headship.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Local Governing Body, CEO, Symphony Central Team staff and other key staff to ensure Foxton continues to provide the very best education for their pupils and to be the strong community-based school it prides itself on.
Situated on the edge of Market Harborough, Foxton is a small rural primary school surrounded by beautiful countryside. If not already held, the successful candidate will be required to complete the NPQH qualification.
We are looking for a Headteacher who is:
- An outstanding practitioner with a proven track record of promoting children's learning and maximising progress;
- A highly approachable character with strong commitment and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective support for all staff and members of our school community;
- A leader with a clear and methodical approach to whole school assessment procedures including the ability to analyse data and use this analysis to close the gap in achievement between groups;
- A hard-working individual, willing to be creative and see tasks through; able to cope with the fast pace of change that is required in a school;
- Highly emotionally intelligent; able to understand the needs of staff in the school and to support them in times of need.
