Are you looking for a new challenge in your teaching career? Freemantles School is a Specialist school based in Mayford Green, Woking, providing educational provision for autistic children and young people with complex social communication needs aged 4 to 19 years. We are a centre of excellence and have been consistently judged as Outstanding at our Ofsted inspections since 2016.

Freemantles has been expanding over the past few years and we now have two purpose built buildings on site; one for our Primary school and more recently one for our Secondary School & FE which opened in October 2023. In addition, we have just opened a temporary satellite site for infants at the former Ripley C of E School.

We are looking for teachers to join us at our amazing Secondary school and FE department (11-19 yrs.).

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and passionate professionals to share their skills and enhance the learning opportunities on offer for our students.

We have a strong and supportive Senior Leadership Team and have a strong track record in supporting ECTs.

We offer a dedicated, friendly, highly trained staff team; a comprehensive induction; extensive training packages and opportunities to further develop leadership and management skills.

The positions are for full time, permanent contracts, to start September 2024.

Freemantles is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to demonstrably share this commitment.

An Enhanced DBS check will be essential. Please note that we will be undertaking online searches on shortlisted candidates, in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
