We are seeking a committed, compassionate and resilient Behaviour Support Coach to join our pastoral team and support pupils in achieving success both academically and personally.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our Behaviour Support Officer within our 'Ready to Learn' provision, supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning, develop positive relationships and build the confidence, resilience and self-regulation skills needed to thrive in school. Working closely with pastoral leaders, teachers, families and external agencies, you will play a key role in promoting a calm, inclusive and purposeful learning environment for all.
The Role
As a Behaviour Support Coach, you will:
- Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and mentor.
- Deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions focused on behaviour, resilience and well-being.
- Support pupils to develop positive coping strategies, self-regulation and independence. Word]
- Work collaboratively with Heads of Year, teaching staff and pastoral colleagues to support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.
- Contribute to behaviour support plans, reviews and progress monitoring.
- Liaise with parents, carers and external agencies to ensure coordinated support for pupils.
- Maintain accurate records using school systems and contribute to wider well-being initiatives across the school.

- Has experience of working with young people in a school, youth work, mentoring or pastoral setting (desirable).
- Is keen to develop their skills through training and professional development.
