About Us

Haberdashers’ Monmouth School is one of the Uk’s top co-ed day and boarding schools, educating children aged 3-18.

Here, children embark on an educational journey within a distinctive community, steeped in over 400 years of history, nestled in the beautiful Welsh market town of Monmouth, overlooking the picturesque Wye Valley. Our students grow into rounded, grounded and self-confident young men and women, equipped to excel in their chosen paths, aspiring to make a positive difference to society.

The Haberdashers’ Monmouth School educate around 970 pupils aged 11-18, day and boarding:

•  Monmouth Prep School, c.200 pupils aged 3-11, co-ed day, boarding from age 7 (Year 3)
•  Monmouth Senior School c.500
•  Monmouth Sixth Form, c.270 pupils
•  Boarding pupils represent c. 20% of our cohort and 12% of the total cohort are international students.

With significant investment in the school, we offer purpose-built, state-of-the-art facilities, including swimming pools, sports pitches, a Performing Arts Centre, science labs, and fashion & design studios, all of which support an extensive range of co-curricular activities.
