Since 1879, Hallfield School has offered an exceptional education to it pupils (we became co-educational in 1995) – making it the leading preparatory school in the Midlands and possibly the country.
However, the success of a school should not be judged simply on academic results. On the contrary, the School has always nurtured a strong ‘hidden curriculum’ which cannot be measured by league tables – where courtesy, manners, self-discipline and respect are valued and reinforced. It is this strong hidden curriculum that underpins everything that takes place at the School: ‘happy children are successful children’.
This commitment is embodied in the Hallfield Children’s Charter. The charter nurtures good friends, good citizens and good learners and was devised by the children and staff of the school. Our strap-line, ‘Happy, Inspiring and Purposeful’, also reinforces our emphasis upon academic progress and success within a framework of a happy community within a secure educational environment.
There is something for everyone at Hallfield, and we expect high standards from our pupils in every task in which they take part.
Hallfield School is an equal opportunities employer, employing over 100 members of staff; teachers, teaching assistants and support staff in administration, finance and estates.
You must have a passion and commitment to helping our children become the best they can be and have an open mind, the ability to be self-reflective and a commitment to continuous improvement. We want people to join the Hallfield Team who radiate enthusiasm and commitment and who want to make a positive difference to the lives of the delightful pupils who come to Hallfield.
If you are a passionate individual, want to help shape our future and develop your own career in an exceptional school, then we want to hear from you.
The ability to think outside the box and come to school every day with a spring in your step and a smile on your face are qualities we look for in all of our staff.
We look forward to receiving your application.
The school is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
