Make a difference. Share your skills. Help our children thrive.
Symphony Learning Trust is seeking a Community Governor to join the Local Governing Body at Havelock Schools.
Our governors play an important role in helping our schools thrive.
By bringing your skills, experience and fresh perspective, you can help shape strategic decisions that
support the success, development and wellbeing of our pupils and school community.
You don’t need previous experience in education or school governance. We welcome people from all backgrounds who are passionate about children’s futures and want to make a positive contribution to their local community.
Whether your experience is in finance, HR, business, project management, community engagement or another area, your knowledge and perspective could make a real difference.
What does the role involve?
• Supporting the school’s strategic direction and development.
• Asking questions, constructively challenging decisions and exploring different perspectives to help ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
• Helping to ensure pupils receive the best possible education and opportunities.
• Contributing to discussions and decisions at governing body meetings.
Could you make a difference?
If you have skills, experience and a genuine interest in helping children succeed, we would love to hear from you.
Join us in helping our schools give every child the opportunity to thrive.
Please contact:
S Bindley SBM or D Seago Clerk to Governors to register your interest.
