Job Title: Breakfast Club Playworker

Actual Annual Salary: £12.86 per hour - Based on hours and weeks worked. 

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £24,819 - £25,545 (CLF Grade Aii). Based on 37 hours per week, All year round.  

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 13/02/2025, Term time only

Additional role information: This role will involve working Monday to Friday, 7.30am to school starting

An opportunity to support children by helping run a welcoming and fun breakfast club of Wicklea Academy:

We are looking for a new Breakfast Club Playworker, to join our supportive and talented team at Wicklea Academy. If you are kind, responsible, able to use your initiative and understand how this role helps children have a great start to their school day, please consider applying.

About you:

You will have:

  •  an understanding of the varied needs of children and families.
  •  knowledge of basic food hygiene standards.
  •  the ability to maintain confidentiality over matters relating to the academy, with students, staff and parents. 
  •  the skills to provide and facilitate safe and stimulating play activities.
  •  capabilities of working within a team environment but also using own initiative.

Safeguarding Statement:

The Cabot Learning Federation are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This role has significant responsibility for ensuring safeguarding practice within the academy. This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
