There is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established administration and leadership team in an outstanding primary school in Weston. The academy opened in a new building in 2016 on the new Haywood Village estate, educating children from pre-school to year 6 and is part of the CLF family of schools in North Somerset.
Are you a highly organised and proactive professional with a passion for operational excellence? We are seeking an exceptional employee to hold the role of Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in the smooth running of our academy. You will oversee the coordination of all operational and administrative activities, ensuring that robust systems and procedures are in place to support our educational mission. It will be important to the team at Haywood Village that you embrace this community, value the current strengths and work well with all stakeholders to strive for continuous improvement.
Working closely with the Principal, senior leadership team, and colleagues across the wider trust, you will help shape and maintain a compliant, efficient, and collaborative environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact, contributing to the success of our academy through outstanding operational leadership.
Haywood Village Academy has classes in Pre-school, Reception and year groups 1 to 6. The school was judged Outstanding by Ofsted in May 2025. The academy is at the heart of the community that it serves and is defined by High Aspirations, Valuing Learning and Achievement for all. We have created a school where children experience an exceptional education.

About you:
You will -
- Have a passion for working with and supporting children and young people.
- Be hard working and enthusiastic.
- Have a keen interest in working within an education-based environment and commitment to inclusion and acceptance of all.
- Provide evidence of effective leadership and line-management of staff including a team.
- Have experience of undertaking and developing a range of administrative tasks to a high standard.
- Be able to work with and influence colleagues in a variety of roles from across an organisation.
- Manage and prioritise a varied and busy workload as work to deadlines.
- Be knowledgeable in using BromCom or other bespoke Management Information system.
- Show experience of working on confidential matters.
