Heathside School has the reputation of high standards and long-standing academic success coupled with outstanding care, advice and guidance. We aim to deliver an outstanding education to all students, ensuring that they have the right support and challenge to become life-long learners. We provide strong pastoral care and are committed to the well-being of students and staff alike. We were last graded as good by Ofsted in November 2023 so please do read the report which can also be found on this website. We aim to provide an enriching curriculum to our students, both within and outside the classroom and the range of opportunities we provide in House activities, sport, music, drama, technology and employability skills ensures that students move on to their next step as confident, resilient well-rounded individuals.

The school converted to Academy status in 2015 and is part of ECED. Since then the school has been successful in numerous bids to support the school’s continued growth and development. Several successful capital improvement bids have resulted in our planned future development of upgrading many teaching areas to ensure that we continue to provide the best learning environment possible for both students and staff.

We work in close partnership with other local Primary, Secondary schools, colleges and Higher Education providers in both Elmbridge and North East Surrey to ensure that we share our expertise with other practitioners and continue to innovate and self-reflect to develop further.
