Maths Tutor
Required from June 2024 on a Casual Basis
£30 per hour
Required 3 days per week 8.30am-2.55pm
We are seeking an appropriately qualified Maths Teacher or an ECT with a degree in maths to join our team of tutors. The successful applicant will be required to work across the Maths curriculum to support students with varying needs in small groups or one-to-one. Tutors are required to record and track progress.
Our tutors support, motivate and challenge students and are passionate about their subject.
We welcome applications from candidates who:
- Can deliver effective Mathematics interventions for identified students or groups of students.
- Provide high quality learning through identification and delivery of specific knowledge, skills and understanding that will unlock barriers to progress and raise achievement.
- Can prepare individual learning plans, including measurable outcome criteria.
- Able to follow up and rearrange planned tuition sessions to ensure that the student engages in all sessions.
- Have the ability to teach up to A ‘Level/ Key Stage 5
