Working Pattern: 8:30am – 3:10pm (9.40am start can be considered)
Starting salary ELM3 (FTE: £21,269)
Actual Salary 16.25 hours (3 days) - £8,132 per annum
ElmWey Learning Trust is a multi-academy trust operating two secondary schools in Elmbridge. We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our new school in its second year of operating. This vacancy provides an exciting and unique opportunity to work as part of the team setting up the new school. Successful candidates will be enthusiastic and willing to go the extra mile. You should also be able to communicate effectively with young people to support learning and development, be flexible, committed and possess sound administrative and IT skills. You should be calm, confident and demonstrate a professional approach in your dealings with young people, staff, parents and external agencies.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates and those considering a career in teaching to gain experience in and out the classroom at a secondary school prior/whilst training.
