The Hermitage Schools are looking for an After School Club Team Leader.
The After School Club Team Leader post is for the After School Club hours during term time - 2.45pm - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday (16 hours and 15 minutes per week).
As the After School Club Team Leader, the main purpose of your role will be to manage the day-to-day running of the extended provision to ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils in your care. This will involve leading a team of staff, preparing engaging activities and making sure all pupils and staff follow relevant policies and procedures.
Some of the responsibilities will include;
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and experiences to support pupils’ development
- Brief other extended provision staff so they’re aware of how the activities will run
- Support pupils during activities to encourage engagement and resolve any issues between pupils
- To have regard to the individual needs of each child who attends the club so they are fully able to participate in the session
A Level 2 qualification related to play work or children’s care, learning and development is desirable.
SWAN Grade 5-6 (dependant on experience) - FTE salary for Grade 5.2 is £26,777 (actual is £9,862). FTE salary for Grade 6.2 is £29,697 (actual is £10,938).
