Job Overview
Highfields Primary School based in Leicester is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible lunchtime assistant for a fixed term position. The successful candidate will be a friendly and reliable team member with an interest in working with children in our school. Initially this appointment will be fixed term for one academic year until 12th July 2024. However, this is likely to be extended.

Job requirements
You will support children’s safety, wellbeing and behaviour during their lunch break. A positive and cheery attitude is essential. Ideally having experience of working with children, you will need to be able to communicate appropriately with children, helping them to play with friends in a safe and kind way.
We are looing for someone who can
- Work well as part of our team.
- Encourage children to have good eating habits and assist young children as required.
- Maintain acceptable standards of behaviour, conduct and safety.
- Help set up and clear the dining hall.
- Help keep the dining hall and dining tables clean.
- Administer First Aid as necessary and complete the accident log.
