Cover Teaching Assistant(s) - Ongoing Opportunities
At St George’s, Teaching Assistants (TAs) are highly valued and recognised as an integral part of any
teaching and learning team. In the Early Years, the social and emotional aspect of their role is
particularly strong and they are seen as key care-takers for the children in these years. TAs are
ultimately accountable to the Principal but take guidance from Heads of Schools, Class Teachers

Their help in a lesson provides not only the Class Teacher, but also the pupils with the support,
knowledge and understanding that ensure teaching and learning is of an optimum level; for this
