FOOTBALL COACH (FTC for the spring term)

Claremont is seeking an enthusiastic Football Coach to join our dynamic sports department for the Spring term.

Our sporting tradition is strong, with football being one of our major sports, and we are passionate about nurturing every pupil’s potential both on and off the field.

The Role

  • We are looking for a skilled and motivated coach to:
  • Assist and lead in the coaching and management of football across all age groups
  • Plan and deliver engaging training sessions
  • Lead school teams in fixtures, including after-school and Saturday morning matches
  • Support pupils of all abilities to develop their skills and confidence
  • Play an active role in the wider life of our sports department

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Successful football playing experience
  • A minimum FA Level 2 coaching qualification or UEFA C diploma (or above)
  • Previous coaching experience at school or club level
  • A passion for sport and a commitment to player development
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to inspire confidence

Hours:

This is a part-time position (26 hours per week) for the Spring terms (05 January 2026 - 25 March 2026)

Actual hours are 1:00pm – 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, 1:00 – 5:00pm on Fridays and four hours on Saturday mornings for fixtures.

The rate of pay is £16-£18 per hour depending on skills and experience
