Position: Nursing Assistant
Location: On site, Westbury-on-Trym BS9 3BA
Hours: This is a part-time position working 29.5 hours a week during termtime. Working hours will be 8.00 am to 6.00 pm 3 days per week and 9.00 am to 12 noon every third Saturday.
The closing date for this position will be Monday 22 September (8.00 am)

We are looking for an experienced and empathetic Nursing Assistant to support the school.
Primary responsibilities include:
• To assist in the management and care of any unwell pupils in school and any pupils who sustain any injury whilst in school.
• Support the Senior Nurse with ensuring every pupil who attends the Health Centre is appropriately assessed and appropriate treatment is actioned.
• Actively promote health and wellbeing issues in school including supporting pupils with managing personal hygiene, sleep hygiene, mental health, healthy eating and exercise.
• Ensure every boarder receives the most appropriate care, advocating on their behalf if necessary.
To be considered for this position, we are looking for the following:
• Previous experience of working with children.
• Good IT skills
• The ability to deliver care in a kind and empathic manner, always remaining calm.
• The ability to work well within a small team
• Experience of working in a triage setting is desirable
