Ratcliffe College, one of the UK’s leading Independent Catholic Day and Boarding Schools, is seeking an experienced and proactive CCF School Staff Instructor to join our team.  This is a varied and hands-on role, combining logistical oversight, compliance, and operational support with opportunities to contribute to a dynamic co-curricular programme.

You will be responsible for the management and maintenance of all CCF stores and accounts, including clothing, equipment, ammunition, rations, and loan stores, ensuring accurate record-keeping and full compliance with regulations. The role includes preparing documentation for inspections, maintaining secure systems, and supporting audit processes.

As a key member of the team, you will oversee cadet records through Westminster and BADER systems, coordinate maintenance of CCF facilities, and support the Contingent Commander with security procedures, including armoury and ammunition store management.

The successful candidate will play a central role in the preparation and delivery of training, camps, and exercises, including logistical planning, MOD bidding processes, and on-the-ground administrative support. You will also assist in the operation and maintenance of critical facilities such as the armoury, indoor range, and stores.

In addition, this role contributes to the wider co-curricular life of the College, supporting adventurous activities, mountain biking provision, and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme, including expeditions and equipment management. There will also be opportunities to help students access regional and national competitions.

This is a practical, detail-focused role requiring strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality support in a disciplined and structured environment.
