Swim School Teacher 1
Dauntsey’s School is looking to appoint an experienced, passionate, qualified swimming teacher to join our expanding swim school to deliver high quality lessons.
Job Description
The successful applicant will be require to work on a rota basis with other staff members. Our lifeguards are responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of all people within the swimming pool. This role will involve significant involvement with pupils.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Promoting and Safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact
- Plan and deliver lessons
- Poolside preparation prior to starting lessons
- To be up-to-date with all current safety standards and emergency procedures
- To be a positive role model, promoting a fun and engaging environment for all swimmers
- To be able to log your lessons, and your pupil's abilities, via online or paper format
- To agree to all swim policies and code of conduct, which includes Safeguarding and Health & Safety at Work
- Flexibility to work and cover shifts, if and when required, by the school
