Dubai College is seeking to appoint a lively, enthusiastic and highly committed teacher of English. The successful candidate should have experience of teaching all ages and abilities from Key Stage 3 up to and including A Level English Literature for up to 23 periods a week.
The aims and influence of the English department reach beyond the classroom and the nature of its work means English is firmly at the heart of the school. Teachers work on developing students’ abilities to write and speak accurately and effectively and on encouraging students’ confidence in their own informed judgments. The Department teachers aim to facilitate and guide the development of students’ speaking, listening, reading and writing skills; essential not just for examination success, but also for life.
