Bristol Grammar School is seeking a temporary (0.7) part-time Teacher of Philosophy, Religion and Ethics (PRE) from February 2026 to July 2026.

PRE is taught throughout the School from Year 7 to Upper Sixth. The person appointed will be expected to teach across this age and academic range. They will be part of a four-strong closely-knit team and must be well qualified academically.

Allied to this we are looking for someone who is not only inspired and excited by the contents of this uniquely challenging subject but also able to enthuse students to glimpse a different perspective on the academic curriculum of the School and perhaps even of life itself. There will be opportunities to be involved with further development of some of our courses at KS3.
