Due to an increasingly expanding department, the College is seeking to appoint a dynamic, knowledgeable and skilled part time teacher to join the popular A Level Psychology department. The successful applicant will work with the current Head of Department to maximise student outcomes through effective teaching and the use of the school systems for tracking, monitoring and intervention. They will also contribute to the development of the subject within the College by enhancing the broad and imaginative range of enriching character development activities already on offer, including appropriate subject enhancement activities such as work experience, a lecture programme and hands-on projects.

The  Psychology department plays a key role in the school’s character development programme, running a weekly Senior and Junior Psychology Society, as well as a Psychology ‘Top Up’ programme providing tailored support to prepare students for leading universities. The students at Dubai College have attained outstanding results in the short time the department has been running. Notable achievements include a Dubai College student being awarded the ‘Highest Mark in the World’ and ‘Highest Mark in the Middle East’ accolade for the Pearson Edexcel GCE Psychology course three years running, and a good number of students choosing to study Psychology at both Ivy League and leading universities for Psychology in the UK and Europe.
