Fixed for 12 months in the first instance
Hours: 25 per week (Monday to Friday), Core hours 10am - 2pm and then 5 flexible to meet demands of the Centre. All year round, 25 days holiday pro rata (17 days) plus public holidays
Holyrood exists to serve its community as such we are very excited to be working in partnership with Chard Community Hub and to be able to advertise this exciting post of Centre Manager and Early Years Lead.
This role will be pivotal not only in ensuring that the Community Hub's premises are led and managed effectively, but most importantly this role is being established to champion pregnant mothers, babies and children in their early years. We seek to enhance the antenatal, perinatal and early years offer in Chard so that all families have access to excellent provision in these areas. Our aim is to provide all children with the skills and experiences they need to succeed at school, from the earliest possible stage, so that all children in our area succeed. This is a role that is all about getting the parents and young people of Chard what they need to thrive and excel!
We are looking for an experienced early years or health professional who is driven to work with schools, early year settings, voluntary, health, community, faith and social enterprise sector, universal and public services to provide the wrap-around support that local residents and families need.
