Horizons College is an innovative and inclusive independent specialist provision for young people aged 16-25 with learning difficulties and/or complex needs. Having opened our brand new college campus at the Interface Business Park in Royal Wootton Bassett in September 2022 the college was graded as Good by Ofsted in the most recent inspection (March 2024). We are looking for an ambitious Quality and Training Manager to work together with the SLT to manage and further develop the quality assurance processes and the culture of continuous improvement for the college.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Career and Work Experience Manager to strategically and operationally oversee our Careers and Work Experience Programmes. In this vital role, you will ensure the delivery meets all eight Gatsby Benchmarks while providing high-quality, impartial careers guidance to support learners' progression into education, training, or employment.

You’ll lead on developing new partnerships, managing employer engagement, and supporting students through meaningful placements and personalised guidance. This role also involves training and managing the Work Experience and Destinations Officer, ensuring compliance with college policies and national standards.

At Horizons College, our mission is clear: Empowering learners to shape their future, and this role is critical in helping us achieve that vision. If this mission resonates with you as an education professional ready for the next step in your career – we want to hear from you.

Hours: 37 hrs per week

Interview Date: w.c 14.07.25 or as received

Training: It is important to us to ensure you feel valued and supported. Full training appropriate to the role will be provided.
