Imperial is a happy nurturing school. Our school team will work hard to ensure your child is settled and happy but also to support your child’s progress and achievements. We are committed to raising standards.

We are pleased that we have a Designated Specialist Provision (DSP) on site which has a communication and interaction focus. Please see additional tab in the menu for more information on the DSP.

Most pupils live in the surrounding area. Many of the parents of our families were themselves pupils at the school and are proud to carry on the tradition. We believe in developing partnerships with families for the benefit of the children in our care.

We value the very first experiences that children gain at home and we work to build on those experiences. We encourage children to listen carefully and to respect the ideas and views of other children. We have a diverse school population and believe everyone benefits from learning about other cultures. We actively encourage parents and carers to be involved in their child’s education from the start and to support their learning at home as well as in school.

We have a lot to be proud about at Imperial. Good teaching is delivered by hardworking and well trained staff who are dedicated to the children and how they learn. We have well resourced classrooms and attractive surroundings. The school has beautiful leafy grounds and outdoor spaces such as the field, the outdoor play areas and the quads. These have been developed to support learning, providing an attractive, safe environment for all children to enjoy.
