Imperial Avenue Infant School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated teacher to join our supportive team.

The successful candidate will continue to help us raise standards and make a difference to the future of our pupils and school.

The vacancy is to cover maternity leave and will be temporary for one academic year.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Has a proven passion for and high standards of teaching and learning

• Highly motivated, imaginative and creative

• Make effective use of assessment to ensure children make strong progress from starting points

• Has high expectations of themselves, others and our pupils

• Is committed to working as part of a mutually supportive team

• Experienced at using adaptive teaching methods to support all children achieving in lesson

• Would be willing to work in Key Stage 1, Nursery or Reception

• Excellent knowledge of phonics and the teaching of reading

• Able to contribute to the school beyond the classroom
