Kenyngton Manor Primary School is an academy school situated in Sunbury-on-Thames serving the local community. It caters for children from Nursery to Year 6, and has a Sure Start Children’s Centre on site. This means that Kenyngton Manor Primary School can offer support and education to all its children’s families from birth to 11 years old. In December 2013 Kenyngton Manor Primary School came under the umbrella of The Howard Partnership Multi-Academy Trust.
This Partnership ensures that the school and community would have the excellent support of the Outstanding Howard of Effingham. KMS was removed from special measures in November 2013, after only two terms, due to the radical progress and strong leadership. At Kenyngton Manor the promises we make to you are that all teachers deliver good or better lessons ensuring that your child thrives in an environment that encourages a thirst for learning, and develops into a life long learning.
Our Aims To provide a caring, secure and stimulating learning environment in which every child can develop as an individual intellectually, socially, morally, emotionally and physically. To provide as a minimum entitlement access to the National Curriculum for each child and extend further the broad balanced relevant and differentiated aspects of this and the wider curriculum. To provide opportunities for every child to feel part of a community where they can develop respect for themselves and the feelings, gender, culture, belief, views and ability of others. To develop self-esteem, self-discipline, self-respect and confidence to meet the changes and challenges in their life ahead.
The Howard Partnership Trust (THPT) is a Multi-Academy Trust created in November 2013 and led by Howard of Effingham School, an outstanding school which is also a designated Academy Sponsor. As the first federation of schools in Surrey, originally formed in 2007 at the request of the LA and DfE, we have a long-standing tradition of highly effective partnership working.
