Following the success of our partner sites, Club Cheadle Hulme, Club Laurus, Club Didsbury, Hazel Grove Sports Centre and Club Priestnall we are delighted to be offering sporting activities to suit the whole community in a warm and welcoming environment at Club Ryecroft, based in the grounds of Laurus Ryecroft.
Club Ryecroft will have a variety of sporting facilities available to hire to local community groups and sporting clubs. This development leads to a fantastic opportunity for a driven and passionate Sports Centre Assistant Manager to become a part of our brand new team. In this role, the ideal candidate will play a key part in assisting with the organisation of a programme of activities to meet the community needs and deliver it within the Sports Lettings community use hours.
The working pattern for this position will Midweek shifts x 4 nights (2 x 3.30pm-10.30pm, 2 x 4pm-10.30pm) Sunday 8am-6pm.
Job Purpose (For further details on the role, please find the Job Description below)
- To act as a point of contact with community users including the effective running of all Sports bookings.
- To represent the Trust / School during community sports lettings periods.
Key Skills & Experience
- Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
- Must be able to move equipment correctly. (e.g. badminton posts, table tennis tables)
- Prior experience in a similar role
