The Laurus Trust is seeking an organised and conscientious Casual Clerk to the Academy Committee of Governors to join the team. This role will involve providing professional clerking support to the Academy Committee, ensuring meetings are well organised, decisions are recorded accurately, and governance complies with statutory and trust requirements.
This role requires 35 hours per year per school, and hours are completed in your own time, outside of the school day. Each Academy Committee has 3 meetings each year and you may be based at any of our Trust schools. Availability during early evening hours is essential.

- Prepare and circulate agendas, files, and minutes within agreed deadlines and in consultation with the Chair/Head of School.
- Attend and clerk all Academy Committee meetings.
Key Skills & Experience
- Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
- Experience of working in an administrative capacity.
- Experience of delivering to deadlines and achieving set targets to a high standard.
