The Laurus Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Trust Financial Controller to join our team on a Fixed-Term basis. As a Trust Financial Controller, you will provide an effective, compliant and high‑quality financial management service across the Trust. You will lead on financial processes, reporting and control, ensuring robust systems are in place to support strategic decision‑making and deliver best value.

Job Purpose
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts and year end forecasts.
- To assist with preparation of the draft budget, the annual financial statements and returns to the DfE and ESFA, adhering to reporting deadlines.
Key Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant with a recognised body (ICAEW,ACCA,CIPFA).
- Experience of planning, budget monitoring and procurement.
- Experience of producing financial/management reports within a medium sized organisation.
