We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and confident Deputy Kids Club manager to join our team at Gorsey Bank Primary School. The post holder will support the Kids Club Manager in the day-to-day running of the breakfast and after-school clubs, helping to ensure high-quality provision for all children. This includes supporting staff ratios, rotas, and cover, building positive relationships with staff, parents, and carers, and creating a safe, stimulating environment that promotes play and exploration. The role also involves observing and responding to children’s needs, maintaining equipment and records, and supporting mealtimes to encourage children’s independence.

This position is contracted on a 22.5 hours per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.
Job Purpose
- To assist the Kids Club Manager in providing a high quality, play and child-centred setting.
- To provide high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old in a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
Key Skills & Experience
- Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
- Good knowledge and understanding of play and how to create opportunities for a wide range of ages and interests
