We are seeking two reliable and enthusiastic Estates and Facilities Assistant to join our hardworking site team on a part time basis, as a job share. This is a varied and rewarding role, vital to maintaining our premises as a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. You will assist the Estates and Facilities Manager in delivering a high-quality service across the site, including maintenance of the school, building, grounds and environment.

This is a full year role, working 17.5 hours per week. Due to this role being a job share, flexibility of hours is essential to cover for each other during absence, when required. Please specify within the additional question which shift you are applying for. The two shifts available are:
- AM shift - 6:30 - 10:00 (During School closure these hours can be worked 8:00 - 11:30. To provide full day cover with PM shift)
- PM shift: 15:00 - 18:30 (During School closure these hours can be worked 11:30 - 15:00. To provide full day cover with AM shift)
Job Purpose (For further details on the role, please find the Job Description below)
- To be responsible to the Estates Director for the security of the premises and its contents (including the operation of fire and burglar alarms and key holder responsibilities) lighting, heating and maintenance of the premises.
- To undertake maintenance / repair work as directed.
Key Skills & Experience
- Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
- D.I.Y skills to carry out daily maintenance tasks and basic refurbishment work.
- Prior experience in a similar role.
