We are seeking an organised, proactive and compassionate SEND Administrator to join our committed Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs and helping to ensure that high-quality provision is delivered across the school.

Working closely with the SENDCo, you will provide confidential administrative support, coordinate key meetings and reviews, maintain accurate records and act as a central point of contact for staff, parents, carers and external agencies.

If you would like to join our Laurus family in a rewarding role that changes the lives of our pupils by empowering them to become the best that they can be then we would love to hear from you.

This position is contracted on a 25 hours per week Term Time Only basis (9am - 2pm). This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.

Job Purpose

  • To provide confidential administrative support to the SEN Department, including the preparation of confidential reports and documents.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous.
  • Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role.
