A SEN Mentor will work under the direction and supervision of the SENCO to contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities for small groups and individual pupils. A SEN Mentor may also undertake day-to day management responsibility for LSA’s and contribute to policy and strategic development.
This role will include a focus on KS4-KS5 transition and the delivery of study skills, organisational skills as well as liaising with class teachers, student support staff, students and parents.
